The Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) awarded IT Coalition a task order to provide Strategic Planning, Impact Analysis, and Management Consulting to the DoD Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF) in Ft. Meade, MD. The DoD CAF determines the security clearance eligibility of DoD personnel who hold sensitive positions, as well as the staff of the U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, Congressional Budget Office, and U.S. Capitol Police. All of the DoD adjudications facility were merged to create a single co-located DoD CAF in 2012. As a result of the consolidation, DoD CAF has focused on enhancing the organizational structure. IT Coalition is currently developing the DoD CAF strategic plan that will enable the CAF to optimize operational efficiency through organizational design and delayering strategy. IT Coalition is drafting the Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) for implementation of the strategic plan that includes scheduling, conflicts, and delays. Additionally, IT Coalition is conducting the impact analysis of Federal and DoD regulation, policy, and procedures on the DoD CAF’s operational planning.
